The Birmingham City Council (Off-street Parking Places) (Jewellery Quarter) (Amendment) (No. 1) Order 1998

On 21st January 1998, the Birmingham City Council, in exercise of their powers contained in section 35(1) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to this Act, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police of the West Midlands in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984, made the above Order, the effect of which will be to revise the present hourly rates and Season Ticket charges for parking on the Albion Street/Tenby Street car park in accordance with the following table:

  This Order will come into operation on 26th January 1998.
  If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order, or any provisions contained therein, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, they may, within 6 weeks from 21st January 1998, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
