The City of Westminster (Prescribed Routes) (No. 6, 1995) (Amendment No. 1) Traffic Order 1998

Wharncliffe Gardens Estate

Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council on 21st January 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.   The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit cycling on the Wharncliffe Gardens Estate footpath linking Cunningham Place and Lisson Grove, and which runs adjacent to the Grand Union Canal.   A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 26th January 1998, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until 4th March 1998, at Hyder Consulting Ltd., Third Floor, 29 Bressenden Place, London SW1E 5DZ.   Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may make application for the purpose to the High Court by 4th March 1998.
