The Proposed Poole Harbour Revision Order

Notice is hereby given that a Public Inquiry in connection with the proposed Poole Harbour Revision Order will be held, commencing at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, 10th March 1998, at the Oakdale Community Partnership Centre, the junction of Dorchester Road and Wimborne Road, Oakdale, Poole BH15 3DL. This building and its facilities are fully accessible for wheelchair users. The Inspector appointed to the inquiry by the Secretary of State is W. J. Bingham, who will hear representations from persons who have objected to the Order, and from any other persons who wish to appear.   The object of the proposed Order is to authorise the construction and management of a new boat haven adjoining Town Quay, Poole. Copies of the draft Order and plans which accompanied the application may be seen at all reasonable hours at the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions, Ports Division, 4th Floor, Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR; at the offices of the Poole Harbour Commissioners, 20 New Quay Road, Poole BH15 4AF; and at the offices of Sherwood & Co., 35 Great Peter Street, Westminster, London SW1P 3LR.
