Minor Amendments to Putney Controlled Parking Zone, Putney Bridge Road, London S.W.15

The Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985:   The Wandsworth (Putney) (Parking Places) (No.   ) Order 199 ;   The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No.   ) Order 199  .   The general effect of the Orders would be to relocate the existing motorcycle bay and the business parking place on the south side of Putney Bridge Road (immediately west of the entrance to St. Georges Court) approximately 4 metres westward. The provisions relating to the hours of operation, issue of permits, etc. would remain unchanged.   Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Orders, including a drawing showing the location and effect of the Orders, are available for inspection, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders.   Further information may be obtained from the Administration Department (telephone 0181-871 7520).   Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Chief Executive and Director of Administration, Room 153, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU (quoting the reference DA/ALT/TMO263) by 20th February 1998.
