Revision to King Street Conservation Area Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Notice is hereby given that Great Yarmouth Borough Council, being the relevant local planning authority, have resolved to amend the boundaries of the King Street Conservation Area by the addition of land and premises in the vicinity of the Tower Curing Works and the exclusion of land and premises in the vicinity of Charles Street, with effect from 27th January 1998. Within the Conservation Area special attention is required to be paid to the desirability of preserving or enhancing land or buildings and permission will be necessary for any works of demolition. Additional controls will also apply to the display of advertisements and loping of trees. Penalties apply in the event of violation of these controls. The area to be excluded will no longer be the subject of these additional controls. Normal planning controls remain in force. A map showing the new boundaries may be viewed at the Planning and Development Department, Greyfriars House, Greyfriars Way, Great Yarmouth, during normal office hours. M. P.
