Notice of Application to stop up highway to the side of property formerly known as 42 Park Road, including part of Williamson Street, in St. Helens. Notice is hereby given that St. Helens Borough Council intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Court House, Corporation Street, St. Helens, on Tuesday, 24th March 1998, at 2.15 p.m., for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, that the highway mentioned in the Schedule hereto be authorised to be stopped up on the ground that it is unnecessary. A plan showing the highway proposed to be stopped up may be inspected, free of charge, at my office at the Town Hall, St. Helens, during normal office hours. Any person to whom this notice has been given or who uses the said highway and any other person who would be aggrieved by the making of the said Order may attend and be heard on the application. V. That highway to the north-easterly side of property formerly known as 42 Park Road, commencing at the north-west corner of the front boundary of the property formerly known as 44 Park Road, and extending in a south-easterly direction along the north-westerly gable of 42 Park Road, a distance of approximately 9 metres with a width of approximately 3 metres, and then a distance of approximately 20 metres with a width of 14 metres.
