Notice of the Issue of a Submarine Pipe-Line Works Authorisation

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry hereby gives notice that he has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, a works authorisation to be held by Elf Exploration UK Plc, whose address is 1 Claymore Drive, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen AB23 8GB, for the construction of a 863.6 millimetre dry gas export pipe-line between tie-in points from the Elgin/Franklin/Shearwater fields and the Low Water Mark at Bacton, Norfolk. Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the 863.6 millimetre dry gas export pipe-line shall only be used to convey Dry Gas. The pipe-line may be used by the holder and with the holder’s agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons. Elf Exploration UK Plc has been appointed operator of the pipe-line. Dr. M. Grist, Field Development Manager
