BOLTON METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
The Bolton (Buckley Lane, Tennyson Road, Westland Avenue, Farnworth) (Prohibition of Waiting) (No. 6) Order 1998
Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of Bolton have made an Order under
sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of this Order which will become operative on 2nd March 1998, is as follows:
No Waiting at Any Time:
Buckley Lane, both sides from 15 metres north of Westland Avenue to 15 metres south of Tennyson
Road;
Tennyson Road, both sides from Buckley Lane for 17 metres in a westerly direction;
Westland Avenue, both sides from Buckley Lane for 17 metres in an easterly direction.
(This Order will contain exceptions to permit waiting for certain purposes and
limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles).
A copy of the Order, together with relevant plans and statement of the Council’s
reasons for the Order may be inspected at the Reception, 1st Floor, Town Hall, Bolton,
and the Area Information Office, Town Hall, Market Street, Farnworth, during normal
office hours.
Anybody wishing to question the Order’s provisions or validity may, within 6 weeks
from 25th February 1998, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
