Pedestrian Crossings in the London Borough of Newham

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Newham propose to convert the existing pedestrian crossings (pelican) in:   (a) Forest Lane, opposite McGrath Road, and   (b) Prince Regent Lane, at its junction with The Greenway (the Northern Outfall Sewer Embankment) into toucan crossings. The crossings will cater for pedestrians and cyclists.   Any objection to or representation regarding these proposals must be made in writing to the Director of Environment, London Borough of Newham, 25 Nelson Street, East Ham, London E6 4AH, by 27th March 1998 and should state the grounds of objection or representation. The Ref. E/ES/NB should be quoted on correspondence.   Details of the proposals will be available for inspection, during normal office hours, at the above address until 27th March 1998.
