Penwith District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that Penwith District Council with the consent of the Cornwall County Council, made an Order under section 35(1) and (3) of Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers. The details of the proposal to make the Order were previously published in the London Gazette, on 13th November 1997.   The above Order becomes effective on 1st April 1998, and the charges shown therein will remain in force until further notice and this Order supersedes the Penwith District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 1995, the Penwith District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Amendment No. 1 Order 1996, the Penwith District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Amendment No. 2 Order 1996 and the Penwith District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Amendment No. 1 Order 1997.   A copy of the new Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the Council Offices, St. Clare, Penzance.   Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks from 1st April 1998, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
