The Caerphilly County Borough Council (Off Street Parking) (Raglan Street Car and Lorry Park, Risca) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that on 27th February 1998 the Caerphilly County Borough Council made an Order under section 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers the effect of which is to regulate the use of the parking places named in the Schedule to this notice which shows the class of vehicles, the days and times of operation and the maximum period for waiting permissible for each parking place. The Order comes into force on 9th March 1998.   Notice of the proposal to make the Order was previously published in The London Gazette on 17th June 1996, Issue No. 54438, Ref. No. 801 and the effect of the Order is described in that notice subject only to the modification of the Title of the Order and the name of the parking place in the Schedule by the addition of the words and lorry” in that part of the Title and the Schedule which now reads Raglan Street Car and Lorry Park, Risca.   A copy of the Order as made together with a map showing the location of the parking places may be inspected at Reception and the Legal Department, (Ref. GRTC/CL00788), Ystrad Fawr, Caerphilly Road, Ystad Mynach, Hengoed CF82 7SF and Reception at the Council Offices, Blackwood Road, Pontllanfraith, during normal office hours, Monday to Friday.   Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from 27th February 1998, apply to the High Court for that purpose. Name of Parking Place: Raglan Street Car and Lorry Park, Risca. Position in which vehicle may wait: Wholly within a parking bay. Classes of Vehicle:   (i) Motor cars within the provisions of section 136(2) of the Act,   (ii) Motorcycles as defined in section 136(4) of the Act,   (iii) Invalid carriages as defined in section 136(5) of the Act,   (iv) Motor Vehicles, the maximum gross weight of which does not exceed 40 tonnes. Days of Operation of Parking Place. All days. Hours of Operation of Parking Place. All hours. Maximum Period for which vehicle may wait: 12 hours. Minimum Return Period: 12 hours. Scale of Charges: None.
