The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up of an area of highway adjoining “Gooserye”, Cooper Road, Windlesham, in the county of Surrey. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted on appeal by the Secretary of State to Ted Latham on behalf of Mr & Mrs R. Harbord on 21st October 1996 under Ref. APP/D3640/A/96/268650. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all reasonable hours during the 28 days commencing on 5th March 1998 at the offices of Surrey Heath Borough Council, Surrey Heath House, Knoll House, Camberley, Surrey GU15 3HD, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Head of Transport (East), Government Office for the South East, (quoting reference GOSE/029/001/SYHE/001) at the address below. During the above-mentioned period of 28 days anyone may object to the making of the Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting Ref. GOSE/029/001/SYHE/001) and addressing their objection to the Head of Transport (East), Government Office for the South East, First Floor, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4GA. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection may be communicated to the applicant and other people who may be affected by it. M.
