The Camden (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. 6) Order 1997

Notice is hereby given that, the Council of the London Borough of Camden, on 9th March 1998, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as previously published in The London Gazette on 30th October 1997, under ref. 512.   The general effect of the Order will be to designate disabled person’s free parking places in Langland Gardens, Wolsey Mews and Morwall Street to provide that the vehicles which may be left in those parking places shall be those displaying a valid permit issued by any Council. Designate another disabled persons’ free parking place in Morwell Street to provide that the vehicles which may be left in that parking place shall be those displaying a valid permit issued by this Council. Anyone wanting to know more about the proposal should telephone 0171 860 5957.   A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 16th March 1998, and of the Camden (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 1993, the Camden (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. 2) Order 1993 and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at the Environment Reception, Fifth Floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ.   Any person wanting to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement or Instrument made under that Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
