The Richmond-upon-Thames Prohibited Right Turns (No. 1) Order 1998
The Richmond-upon-Thames Waiting and Loading Restriction (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 25) Order 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames on 9th March 1998, made the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The effects of the Orders are to:   (a) prohibit all vehicles turning right from Queen’s Road, Teddington into Broad Street, and from Stanley Road, Teddington into Hampton Road;   (b) upgrade the waiting restrictions at the junctions of Broad Street/Hampton Road/Queen’s Road/Stanley Road, Teddington to operate at all times;   (c) introduce 10 metres of waiting restrictions in Warren Avenue, Richmond, at its junction with Upper Richmond Road West, to operate at all times.   The Orders will come into operation on 16th March 1998.   Copies of the Orders and the Council’s statements of reasons for making the Orders together with plans showing the lengths of road affected can be inspected at the Civic Centre (Second Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham, between 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays; Central Reference Library, Old Town Hall, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond, during opening hours; and Teddington Library, Waldegrave Road, during opening hours.   Copies of the Orders may be purchased from the Highways and Transport Department, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ.   Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under the Act has not been complied with that person may, within 6 weeks from the date the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court. 13th March 1998.
