The Oldham (Brook Street, Oldham) Prohibition of Waiting Order 1991 (Amendment) Order 1992

Notice is hereby given that the Oldham Borough Council have today made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is as described in The London Gazette dated 4th December 1992, Issue No. 53127, notice No. 514. The Order will come into operation on 16th March 1998.   A copy of the Order and a map showing the length of road referred to and a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons and a copy of the Order being amended may be examined at my office between the hours of 8.40 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays (Room 222, telephone 0161 911 4844, Ref. SPO/TO17/92).   If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 16th March 1998, apply to the High Court for the purpose.
