TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives
notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled The Stopping-up
of Highways (Kingston-upon-Hull No. 1) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of
three areas of Bewholme Grove, Kingston-upon-Hull.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Director
of Planning, Transport and Environment, at the Government Office for Yorkshire and
the Humber, PO Box 213, City House, New Station Street, Leeds LS1 4US (quoting YHDOT
F2035/35/1/5), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at Kingston-upon-Hull
City Council, Reception/Enquiries, Guildhall, Alfred Gelder Street, Kingston-upon-Hull.
Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof,
or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers
of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder
has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 25th March
1998 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any
provision contained therein.
