ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

The A628 Trunk Road (Manchester Road, Tintwistle and Hollingsworth) (30 and 40 m.p.h Speed Limit) Order 1998

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 84(1) and (2) and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
  The Order will come into force on Monday, 30th March 1998. The effect of the Order is as described in The London Gazette dated 22nd January 1998, Ref. 804.
  A copy of the Order and the relevant plan have been deposited at: Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, Environmental Services Department, Council Offices, Wellington Road, Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside; Tintwistle Parish Council, Council Office, 99 Manchester Road, Tintwistle; Information Officer, The Court House, Market Place, Hollingworth, where they may be inspected during normal working hours. A copy may also be seen at, or obtained by application to, the Office of the Director, Network and Customer Services Division, Room 705, Sunley Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE, quoting Ref. NND 1000/28/2/1.
