Notice of application for a licence to abstract water
Take notice that Mr. R. Handley of The Country House Hotel, Long Hill, Buxton, Derbyshire
is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from a borehole
from Gritstone at National Grid Reference SK 0399 7512 at the Country House Hotel,
Long Hill, Buxton, Derbyshire. The proposal is to abstract water at the following
rates: 5 cubic metres per hour, 20 cubic metres per day, 7,300 cubic metres per year
between January and December each year. The water will be used in the Hotel.
A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with
it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the Country House
Hotel, Buxton, between 25th March 1998 and 25th April 1998.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so
in writing to the Environment Agency, Trentside Offices, Scarrington Road, West Bridgford,
Nottingham before the end of the said period.
