Notice of Deposit of Proposals for a Unitary Development Plan Vale of Glamorgan Unitary Development Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Vale of Glamorgan Council have prepared proposals for the above plan. If, and when, these plan proposals are adopted they will form the development plan for the Vale of Glamorgan. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection, free of charge, at:   The Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry;   The Dock Office, Barry Docks, Barry;   St. Hilary Court, Copthorne Way, Culverhouse Cross, Cardiff;   Cowbridge District Office, 79 Eastgate, Cowbridge;   Monday to Thursday, 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.   Penarth District Office, West House, Stanwell Road, Penarth;   Monday to Thursday, 8.45 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., Friday, 8.45 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.   Llantwit Major Town Council, Town Hall, Llantwit Major;   Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.   Dinas Powys Community Council, Council Offices, Britway Road, Dinas Powys;   Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.   All Council offices will be closed on 10th April, 13th April and 4th May 1998.   Objections to, and representations, in respect of the proposals should be made in writing on the prescribed forms, which are available from the above offices, before 13th May 1998 and sent to:   The Chief Planning Officer, Directorate of Economic Development, Planning, Transportation and Highways, Vale of Glamorgan Council, Dock Office, Barry Docks, Barry CF63 4RT.   Representations received after 13th May 1998 will not be accepted.   Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They also may be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.   Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the six weeks period ending on 13th May 1998, will have the right to have their objections considered.   Further information about the Unitary Development Plan can be obtained from the Planning Policy and Research Group, which is located at the Dock Office, Barry Dock, Barry.

Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals

  If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making objections the Vale of Glamorgan Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period. D. L.
