Notice of adoption for a Local Plan High Peak Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that, on 9th April 1998, High Peak Borough Council adopted these plan proposals. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for the Borough of High Peak outside the Peak District National Park. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at Council Offices and at libraries in the plan area during normal opening hours:   Municipal Buildings, Glossop, Derbyshire SK13 8AF; Council Offices, Hayfield Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak SK23 0QS; and Town Hall, Buxton, Derbyshire SK17 6EL.   The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposal, may, within 6 weeks from 9th April 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
