LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE
The Redbridge (Gaysham Avenue, Gants Hill) (Additional Parking Places) (Free Parking
Places) (Amendment No. 1) Order 1998
Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the
Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, made the above-mentioned Order on 27th April
1998 under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
The general effect of the proposed Order will be to further amend the Redbridge
(Free Parking Places) Order 1993 by extending the free parking bay in Gaysham Avenue
in order to provide additional parking facilities for residents of Gaysham Avenue.
The Order will come into operation on 11th May 1998.
A copy of the Order, of the above-mentioned Order of 1993 (and of the Orders that
have amended that Order) together with a map of the area and the Council’s statement
of reasons for making the Order, may be inspected during normal office hours, Mondays
to Fridays inclusive, at the Information Centre, Town Hall, High Road, Ilford, Essex,
until 10th July 1998.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained
therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations
made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6
weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for this purpose to
the High Court.
