Notice of Deposit of Proposed Changes to the Alteration of a Local Plan Suffolk Coastal Local Plan

Notice is hereby given that on 9th March 1998, Suffolk Coastal District Council placed on deposit proposals for the first alteration of the above plan for the Suffolk Coastal District, for the period up to the year 2006. A public inquiry into objections duly submitted is to open on 10th November 1998.   Prior to the inquiry taking place, the District Council is proposing changes to the first alteration in order to meet particular objections, to take account of new information that has become available, or to correct errors.   Copies of the proposed changes are available for public inspection at the Suffolk Coastal District Council Offices, Melton Hill, Woodbridge, free of charge, on Monday to Thursday from 8.45 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. and on Friday from 8.45 a.m. to 4.45 p.m.   Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposed changes should be sent in writing to the Director of Planning and Leisure, Suffolk Coastal District Council, Melton Hill, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP12 1AU, before 4.45 p.m., on Friday, 21st August 1998. Objections and representations should relate to the proposed changes only and specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.   Only objectors whose representations are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the period ending at 4.45 p.m., on Friday, 21st August 1998, will have a right to have their objections considered at the public inquiry.   Further information is available from the Director of Planning and Leisure, Suffolk Coastal District Council.
