Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Notice of Adoption of Proposals for a Local Plan Mid Devon Local Plan

On 21st July 1998 Mid Devon District Council adopted these plan proposals. The adopted proposals will form part of the development plan for Mid Devon District. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the adopted proposals are available for inspection at:   Ailsa House, Tidcombe Lane, Tiverton, Devon EX16 4DZ;   The Great House, 1 St. Peter Street, Tiverton, Devon EX16 6NY;   Council Office, Market Street, Crediton, Devon EX17 2BN;   Claremont House, 65 Fore Street, Cullompton, Devon EX15 1JY; Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.   The proposals came into operation on their adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within 6 weeks from 21st July 1998, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
