Notice under Section 38

Withdrawal of Support

This notice relates to the land within the parishes/communities of Womersley and Whitley, within the district of Selby and the county of North Yorkshire, on a plan numbered 1 which is deposited at the offices of R.J.B. Mining (UK) Ltd, at Harworth Park, Blyth Road, Harworth, Doncaster DN11 8DB. The plan is available for inspection by appointment with Mr. J. Knapp (telephone 01302 755275) between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays, except public holidays.   R.J.B. Mining (UK) Ltd whose registered office is at Harworth Park, Blyth Road, Harworth, Doncaster DN11 8DB, is authorised by a licence under Part II of the Coal Industry Act 1994, and has the approval of the Coal Authority for the giving of a notice relating to the land in question.   R.J.B. Mining (UK) Ltd, hereby give notice that there are proposals to carry on coal mining operations which may require the exercise in relation to the land indicated on the plan referred to in paragraph 1 of this notice of such a right as is mentioned in section 38(1) of the Coal Industry Act 1994, namely to withdraw support from any land to which section 38 applies.
