Notice of Deposit of Proposals for the Alteration of a Local Plan Cherwell Local Plan Former Quarry and Cement Works, Shipton on Cherwell

Cherwell District Council has prepared proposals for the alteration of the above plan, so far as it relates to the land occupied by the former quarry and cement works at Shipton on Cherwell. If, and when, these plan proposals are adopted they will form part of the development plan for Cherwell Disrict Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.   Copies of the proposals are available for public inspection at the following Council Offices: Bodicote House, Bodicote; Borough House, Marlborough Road, Banbury; Exeter Hall, Kidlington and 38 Market Square, Bicester, free of charge on Mondays to Thursdays between 8.40 a.m. and 5.15 p.m. and on Fridays between 8.40 a.m. and 4.20 p.m.   Objections to, and representations in respect of the proposals should be sent in writing to the Head of Development and Property Services, Cherwell District Council, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury OX15 4AA, by 23rd October 1998. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals.   Only those objections made in writing which arrive at the address above within the 6 week period ending on 23rd October 1998, will have a right to have their objections considered.   Further information is available from the Department of Development and Property Services, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury.

Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals

If not objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making objections Cherwell District Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period. G. Handley, Chief Executive 10th September 1998.
