Stopping-up of Highway Adjacent to Church House, Higher Chapel Street, East Looe, in the County of Cornwall

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act, entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Cornwall) (No. SW2) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of highway adjacent to Church House, Higher Chapel Street, East Looe, to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission referred to in that Schedule.   Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the South West (Transport), 4th Floor, The Pithay, Bristol BS1 2PB (quoting Ref. GOSW(T)5048/35/1/072), and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Looe Town Council, The Guildhall, East Looe.   Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 13th November 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.   Construction of structural buttress to preserve external wall on land situate at grid ref. (2561 5318), Church House, Higher Chapel Street, East Looe, in accordance with planning permission granted to P. Bland by Caradon Distrist Council, on 17th November 1997, under Ref. 597/116/F.
