The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 21) Order 1998
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that, in the application of Kearsley Airways Limited, he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Essex) (No. 21) Order 1998” authorising the stopping-up of a length of highway at Bury Lodge Lane, Stansted Airport, Stansted, Essex, to enable development consisting of change of use of highway to private land to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted to Kearsley Airways Limited on 12th May 1998, under Ref. UTT/0264/98/FUL. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for Eastern Region (Planning and Transport), Heron House, 49-53 Goldington Road, Bedford MK40 3LL (quoting GT/C1570/35/1/31) and may be inspected at all reasonable hours at the offices of Uttlesford District Council, High Street, Great Dunmow, Essex. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 26th November 1998, apply to High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
