DIVERSION OF A HIGHWAY AT ROCHDALE
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that, following the holding of Public Inquiry, hereby gives notice that he has made an Order under section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Diversion of Highways (Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale) (No. 4) Order 1998”, authorising the diversion of a length of Prickshaw Lane at Broadley Fold, Rochdale. Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the office of the Government Office for the North West (Transport) Sunley Tower, Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester M1 4BE (quoting Ref. GO/ TNW 5084/35/1/35). It may also be inspected at all reasonable hours at the Town Hall, Rochdale. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the power of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any Regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 2nd December 1998, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
