BURIAL ACT 1853
Notice is hereby given that representations have been made to Her Majesty in Council by the Secretary of State for the Home Department that burials should be discountinued in the following places of burial and that Her Majesty in Council was pleased on 13th April 1999 to order that such representations be taken into account by a Committee of the Privy Council on 10th June 1999: 1. The Old Churchyard of St. John the Baptist, Meopham, Kent; 2. The Churchyard of St. Michael, Glentworth, Lincolnshire; 3. The Churchyard of St. Mary & St. Nicholas, Littlemore, Oxford; 4. The Churchyard of St. John the Evangelist, Hooe, Plymouth; 5. Richmond Old Churchyard, London Borough of Richmondp-upon-Thames; 6. St. Martin’s Churchyard, Little Ness, Shrewsbury, Shropshire; 7. St. Mary’s Churchyard, Bramford, Ipswich, Suffolk; 8. St. Edward’s Churchyard, Winterbounre Dauntsey, Salisbury, Wiltshire.
