THE FORMER CHURCH ROOM, TREWALCHMAI, HOLYHEAD, ANGLESEY
WHEREAS By a Conveyance dated 9th August 1854, and made between the Bishop of Bangor (1) and the Minister and Churchwardens for the time being of the Parish of Trewalchmai (2) a piece or parcel of land situate at Trewalchmai in the then county of Gwynedd, now the county Anglesey and now being the site of the former Church Room at Trewalchmai was granted to the said Minister and Churchwardens for the time being of the Parish of Trewalchmai under the authority of the School Sites Acts 1841 and 1845. The said former Church Room ceased to be used for such purposes more than 10 years ago. The said former Church Hall has ceased for a year to be used for the purposes for which it was granted under the combined effect of The School Sites Acts 1841 and 1845 and section 1 of the Reverter of Sites Act 1987, the said land has reverted and become vested in the Representative Body of the Church in Wales on trust to sell the same. NOW TAKE NOTICE The Representative Body of the Church in Wales intends to make an application to the Charity Commission for the establishment of a scheme which extinguishes the rights of beneficiaries under the trust and which requires the Representative Body of the Church in Wales to hold the said property on trust for such charitable purposes as may be specified in the Order. Every beneficiary who wishes to oppose the extinguishment of his or her rights should notify his or her claim in writing to the Representative Body of the Church in Wales, of 39 Cathedral Road, in the city of Cardiff CF11 9XF, not later than 30th December 2000.
