THE SMYTH-HORNE LIMITED RETIREMENT BENEFITS SCHEME

Pursuant to the Trustee Act 1925, section 27, notice is given that all Members or other persons having any claims against or claiming to be beneficially interested in the Smyth-Horne Limited Retirement Benefits Scheme, established by Smyth-Horne Limited by deed dated 1st March 1951, are required to send particulars in writing to Abbey National Benefit Consultants Limited, 77 Gracechurch Street, London EC3V 0LH (marked for the attention of Mr. John Hotchkin), on or before 7th February 2001 after which date the Trustees of the Scheme will proceed to distribute the funds of the Scheme among the persons entitled to them having regard only to the claims of which they have notice and shall not be liable for the funds of the Scheme so distributed to any person or persons of whose claims or demands they have not then had notice.
