PROPOSED LOADING RESTRICTIONS AT THE JUNCTION OF HAMPTON ROAD AND FIRST CROSS ROAD, TWICKENHAM

The Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames propose to make a Traffic Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce restrictions on vehicular loading or unloading between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. and between 2.30 p.m. and 4 p.m. throughout the week in First Cross Road, Twickenham, (both sides), for the first 7 metres from its junction with Hampton Road and in Hampton Road, Twickenham, on its north-west side, for a distance of 19 metres on the south-western side of its junction with First Cross Road and for a distance of 17 metres on the north-eastern side of its junction with First Cross Road. Copies of the draft Order, plan and statement of reasons can be inspected at the Civic Centre (Second Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ, between 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays, for a period of 21 days from the date of this notice. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ, within 21 days of the date of this notice, giving the grounds of their objection.
