NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF A LOCAL PLAN
HARTLEPOOL LOCAL PLAN INCLUDING MINERAL AND WASTE POLICIES

Hartlepool Borough Council has prepared the above plan. If and when this plan is adopted it will form part of the development plan for the area of the Borough of Hartlepool. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting the area. Copies of the plan are available for public inspection, free of charge, at Bryan Hanson House, Hanson Square, Lynn Street, Hartlepool, on 29th March 2001 to 10th May 2001, Monday to Thursday between 8.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and Friday 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Copies are also available for public inspection from 29th March 2001 to 10th May 2001, free of charge, during normal opening hours at the Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, Hartlepool Central Library, all branch libraries in Hartlepool and at the Summerhill Visitor Centre, Summerhill Lane, Hartlepool. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the plan should be sent in writing to the Head of Planning and Economic Development, Hartlepool Borough Council, Bryan Hanson House, Hanson Square, Hartlepool TS24 7BT, before 10th May 2001. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made. They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the proposals. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 10th May 2001 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing. Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals If no objections to the proposals are received during the period given for making objections Hartlepool Borough Council intends to adopt the plan on the expiry of that period.
