CAISSE NATIONALE DE CREDIT AGRICOLE RETIREMENT AND DEATH BENEFITS PLAN

This notice concerns you if you are an employee or former employee of: Caisse Nationale de Credit Agricole S.A. Credit Agricole Lazard Financial Products Bank Europe Mortgage Company plc (formerly Credit Agricole Personal Finance plc) Birmingham Midshires Mortgage Asset (No 5) Limited (formerly Credit Agricole Mortgage Company No 1 Limited), or widow/widower, child or other, dependent of such employee or former employee. The Caisse Nationale de Credit Agricole Retirement and Death Benefits Plan (“the Plan”) is being wound up. This means that the Trustees of the Plan need to establish exactly who are the beneficiaries of the Plan, and their entitlements to benefits, so that the Trustees can arrange for the assets of the Fund to be used to provide pensions and benefits due to beneficiaries. The Trustees have already written to all of the Members and beneficiaries of the Plan for whom they have records. If you have not already received a letter from the Trustees and you have, or think you might have, a right to benefit under the Plan, you should write to Michael Payne, Group Head—Financial Accounting, Credit Agricole Indosuez, 122 Leadenhall Street, London EC3V 4QH, within 2 months from the date of issue of this notice after which date the Trustees of the Plan will proceed to apply all the remaining assets of the Plan in securing the liabilities attributable to the persons so entitled.
