MANCHESTER TOBACCO COMPANY LIMITED STAFF PENSION SCHEME (“the Plan”)

This notice is given by the Trustees of the Plan pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925.
The Trustees are winding-up the Plan in which Manchester Tobacco Company Limited whose business was last conducted at Barton Dock Road, Urmston, Manchester M41 7TB (formerly at Ludgate Hill, Manchester M4 4DA), JT International Europe Ltd whose business was last conducted at 3 Shortlands, Hammersmith International Centre, London W6 8EW, and JT (UK) Limited whose business is conducted at 4th Floor, Curzon Street, London W1J 8PD, participated.

Notice is hereby given that any person having a claim against or an interest in the Plan is requested to send particulars in writing of that claim or interest on or before 1 December 2001 to Mrs P Cookson, Marsh Financial Services Limited, No 1 City Road East, Manchester M15 4PN.
Claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth and, if applicable, details of when they worked for any of the Companies named above. Please quote the Plan name in all correspondence.
After 1 December 2001 the Trustees will proceed to distribute the assets of the trust amongst the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims and interests of which the Trustees shall then have had notice and the Trustees will not be liable, as regards the assets of the trust or any part thereof so distributed, to any person of whose claim or interest they have not then had notice.
Any person who has already been contacted by the Trustees or who has already made a claim and received a response need not re-apply to the Trustees.
