THE STP GROUP LTD RETIREMENT & DEATH BENEFIT SCHEME (1978) (“The Scheme”)

PURSUANT TO SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

The Trustees are winding-up the Plan in which STP Group Ltd whose business was last conducted at Watford Bridge Works, New Mills, High Peak SK22 4HJ, participated. The trading Companies of the STP Group have been Birchwood Joinery Sales Limited, J E Jones (Sawmills) Limited, J E Jones (Woodsales) Limited, Portaflor Limited, Arthur Oliver Limited, STP Group Limited, STP Joinery Limited, STP Manufacturing Limited, STP Distribution Limited and STP Windows Limited. Notice is hereby given that any person having a claim against or an interest in the Plan is requested to send particulars in writing of that claim or interest on or before 21 July 2002, to Mr P Gammond, The Dunne Partnership, 25 Gatley Road, Cheadle, Cheshire SK8 1LY. Claimants should provide their full name, address, date of birth and, if applicable, details of when they worked for any of the Companies named above. Please quote the Scheme name in all correspondence. After 21 July 2002, the Trustees will proceed to distribute the assets of the trust amongst the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims and interests of which the Trustees shall than have had notice and the Trustees will not be liable, as regards the assets of the trust or any part thereof so distributed, to any person of whose claim or interest they have not then had notice. Any person who has already been contacted by the Trustees or who has already made a claim and received a response need not re-apply to the Trustees.
