NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK (DESIGNATION) ORDER 2002

Notice is hereby given that Roy Foster, MA (Oxon) MRTPI, an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, will attend at 10.00 am, on 8 October 2002, at the Forest Suite, Lyndhurst Park Hotel, Lyndhurst, Hampshire to hold a local inquiry for the purpose of hearing objections and representations that have been submitted relating to the above-mentioned Order. The inquiry into the Designation Order will also consider representations that been made into management and administration measures, including the Countryside Agency’s advice on how a National Park Authority might operate to recognise the special characteristics of the New Forest.
Rebecca Hughes, BSc BPhil FLI, has been appointed as Assessor on boundary matters.
