TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 247

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (“the Council”) hereby gives notice that on 7 May 2003 it made an Order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 authorising the stopping-up of the highway described in the Schedule below.
The Order authorises the stopping-up of the highway in order to enable the development described in the Schedule below to be carried out.
The Order and any relevant plans or maps may be inspected, free of charge, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.45 pm, Monday to Thursdays and 9.00 am and 4.15 pm, on Fridays at the Planning Information Office, Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, or may be obtained by post from the above address quoting Ref SO/02/005.
This Order came into force on 7 May 2003, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in its relation to the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by section 252 of that Act.
