NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that The National Trust of The Ebworth Centre, The Camp, Stroud, Gloucestershire GL6 7ES, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from The Inferior Oolite and Cotteswold Sands, at National Grid Ref ST 7865 9417 and ST 7855 9345, at Field Barn and Lion Lodge, Ozleworth. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 1.2 cubic metres per hour, 27 cubic metres per day and 9,855 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for seven dwellings and two farms with livestock on the Newark Estate A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at the gates of Newark Park House, between 26 May 2003 and 30 June 2003. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Regulatory and Technical (Water Resources Team), Rivers House, East Quay, Bridgewater, Somerset TA6 4YS, before the end of the said period quoting the name of the applicant.
