THE THERMO-ELECTRIC INTERNATIONAL LIMITED PENSION AND ASSOCIATED BENEFITS PLAN

Notice is being given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Thermo-Electric International Limited Pension and Associated Benefits Plan (the “Plan”) is winding-up. I, Vernon Holgate, Director, Thomas Eggar Trust Corporation Limited, Independent Trustee of the Plan, require any person interested in, or claiming to be entitled to a benefit from, the Plan to send to me, at the address given below, within a period of two months from the date of this notice, details of such interest or claim. After 9 August 2003, being the expiration of two months from the date of this notice, the Trustee of the Plan will distribute the assets of the Plan, having regard to the claims of which they have prior written notice, and will not be liable in respect of any person whose claim has not been notified to them in writing prior to 9 August 2003. Any persons who have received announcements to Members or correspondence within the last 12 months from the Trustees or from Brown Shipley need not reply to this notice.
