WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

DECLARATION OF NATIONAL NATURE RESERVE

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of section 35 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, that by the Tarr Steps Woodland National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2004, made on 27 January 2004, English Nature declared that the land having a total area of 33.45 hectares or thereabouts, situated in the parishes of Dulverton, Hawkridge and Winsford in the county of Somerset and shown shaded yellow on the map attached to the said Declaration, is being held by the Exmoor National Park Authority, a body approved by English Nature, and managed as a nature reserve. Certified copies of the Tarr Steps Woodland National Nature Reserve No 1 Declaration 2004, have been deposited for public inspection, free of charge, during normal office hours at the offices of Somerset County Council, West Somerset District Council, Exmoor National Park Authority, and the offices of English Nature, at Roughmoor, Bishops Hull, Taunton and Northminster House, Peterborough.
