AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT AREA REVOCATION ORDER ENVIRONMENT ACT 1995
The Councils for Tewkesbury Borough and Stroud District, being satisfied that the
target objectives for 2005 relating to the air pollutant nitrogen dioxide are likely
to be met, hereby give notice that they will, on 28 January 2004, revoke an Order
declaring an Air Qualty Mangement Area (AQMA) made on 30 April 2001.
The Revocation Order will have effect from 25 February 2004.
The precise area of the AQMA is the length of the M5 motorway between a point where
it crosses over the A417 (just south of Junction 11A) within the boundary of Tewkesbury
and a point on the M5 some 400 metres north of where the M5 crosses over the B4073
within the district of Stroud and extending laterally from the westernmost boundary
of the M5 outwards for a distance of approximately 65 metres east of the boundary
of the M5.
