CONTROL OF POLLUTION ACT 1974 PART 111 SECTION 63 AND SCHEDULE 1

CITY OF BIRMINGHAM NOISE ABATEMENT ORDER NO (1) 1978

Birmingham City Council in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 63 and Schedule 1 of the Control of Pollution Act 1974, hereby intends to revoke the following Order. The Order to be revoked is the City of Birmingham Noise Abatement Order No (1) 1976 (hereinafter called the 1976 Order) and which came into effect on 29 June 1976. This Order and a copy of the 1976 Order may be viewed at the Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham B1 1BB and Consumer Shop, 155-157 Corporation Street, Birmingham B4 6PH. You may object to the Order being revoked by writing to the Council no later than 25 March 2004. The Council and the Secretary of State will then take your objections into account in deciding whether or not to revoke the Noise Abatement Order. The Common Seal of Birmingham City Council was hereto affixed on and signed in the presence of/on behalf of the said Council.
