SOUTH DOWNS NATIONAL PARK (DESIGNATION) VARIATION ORDER 2004
Notice is hereby given that Robert Neil Parry, BA DipTP MRTPI, an Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, will hear objections and representations that have been submitted relating to the above-mentioned Order, as part of the South Downs National Park Local Inquiry that is currently under way to hear objections and representations to the South Downs National Park (Designation) Order 2002. The Inquiry is being held at Chatsworth Hotel, Steyne, Worthing, West Sussex BN11 3DU. It will also hear objections to Orders revoking the East Hampshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Sussex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and comments on whether a National Park Authority is appropriate and, if so, how might it best be established and operate. Nigel Buchan BA (Hons), MLA (Harvard), MLI has been appointed as Landscape Assessor for the existing Inquiry and will assist the Inspector on matters relating to the above-mentioned Variation Order.
