ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
THE A23 GLA ROAD (BRIGHTON ROAD, CROYDON) (BUS PRIORITY) (NO 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2004

1. Transport for London, hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above-named Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to provide a bus lane on the southbound A23 Brighton Road between a point 4 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 75 and 77 Brighton Road and a point 17 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 103 and 105 Brighton Road, Purley. 3. The road that would be affected by the Order is the A23 Brighton Road, Purley. 4. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposals, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of: Transport for London, Street Management, Statutory Functions, Traffic Orders, 84 Eccleston Square, London SW1V 1LP; London Borough of Croydon, Taberner House, Park Lane, Croydon CR9 6JS. 5. All objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections and representations must be sent to Transport for London, Street Management, Windsor House, 42-50 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0TL quoting Ref TASS/AD/SF/TO, GLA/2004/636, to arrive before 1 October 2004. Objections and other representations may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
