THE REDBRIDGE (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO 5) ORDER 2004
HIGH ROAD, SEVEN KINGS AND NEW ROAD—WAITING RESTRICTIONS

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, on 13 December 2004, made the above-mentioned Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general effect of the Order will be to further amend the Redbridge (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1993 so as to introduce waiting restrictions operative “at any time” on the lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this Order. The original proposals first published on 12 August 2004 have been slightly modified as result of consultation. Details of exemptions from the restrictions for certain vehicles and persons, together with restrictions on selling or advertising in a restricted street are contained in the original Order of 1993. 3. Copies of the Order which will come into operation on 20 December 2004, of the Order being amended and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, together with documents showing more detailed particulars of the restrictions and plans showing the locations may be inspected between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays (9.30 am to 4.30 pm on Wednesdays), until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the Information Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex IG1 1NN. 4. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
