STOPPING-UP OF A HIGHWAY

Notice is hereby given that Hartlepool Borough Council, the Highway Authority, intends to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at the Law Courts, Victoria Road, Hartlepool, on Monday, 11 July 2005, at 2.15 pm, for an Order pursuant to section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, that those lengths of highway referred to in the Schedule hereto be stopped-up on the ground that they are unnecessary. A copy of a plan (drawing number M50-391) showing those parts of the highway to be stopped-up may be inspected, free-of-charge, during normal office hours at the Legal Division of the Chief Executive’s Department, Civic Centre, Victoria Road, Hartlepool. Schedule Footpath No 39 Hartlepool (Part) The length of footpath to be stopped up commences from the boundary of the Hartlepool Blind Welfare Association and the Time and Tide Public House on Avenue Road at Grid Ref NZ 50674 32646 (Point A on plan) and travels in a southerly direction for approximately 15 metres to Grid Ref NZ 50672 32631 (Point B on plan). The width of the footpath is approximately 2.85 metres. 9 May 2005.
