COUNCIL ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that 27 January 2006 was the last day on which names of candidates could be received for the Council election which will take place on 6 April 2006. Voting will close at 12.00 noon on 6 April 2006. Nominations were forwarded to the Executive General Manager by candidates seeking to fill five vacancies occasioned by the death of Mr Hugh Phillips, the retirement of Mr David Rosin, Mr David Dandy and Professor Valerie Lund and the completion of a first term of office for Professor Anthony Mundy.
