WATER RESOURCES ACT 1991 (AS AMENDED BY THE ENVIRONMENT ACT 1995)

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 to the Water Resources Act 1991, that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by Crichel Estates Limited for consent to discharge 7.2 cubic metres per day of treated sewage effluent to groundwater via a soakaway at National Grid Ref ST 9896 0671 from Sylvia Cottages and Mount Pleasant Cottages, Witchampton, Wimborne, Dorset. Proposed discharge: this application is to provide a new sewage treatment plant to deal with effluent from a residential development of three new properties and from four existing properties. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Margaret Gray, Authorisations Officer, The Environment Agency, Rivers House, Sunrise Business Park, Higher Shaftesbury Road, Blandford Forum, Dorset DT11 8ST, not later than Friday 28 July 2006, quoting Ref 3914-2/AD24/402153. Please be aware that any representation may be made available to third parties under the Freedom of Information Act. A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the Environment Agency address above, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (not Bank Holidays).
