ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A1 TRUNK ROAD (WATER NEWTON, CAMBRIDGESHIRE) (CLOSURE OF GAP IN THE CENTRAL RESERVATION) ORDER 200

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 1(1) and 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on a length of the A1 Trunk Road at Water Newton in the county of Cambridgeshire. The effect of the Order would be to close the gap in the central reservation of the A1 opposite its western junction with Old Great North Road at Water Newton. A copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and a statement of the Secretary of State’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during opening hours at Orton Library, Orton Centre, Peterborough PE2 5RQ; Wansford Post Office, Elton Road, Wansford, Peterborough PE8 6JD or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, 5 Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1BL, during normal office hours. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a written statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to Karen Eustace at the Highways Agency at the address given above.
